This gives you a one off payment of £140 on your electricity bill. Whether you qualify depends on you supplier and your personal circumstances. You may get this of you receive certain benefits, have a household income of less than £16,100 or have a young child or disabled person in the household. Welsh Water Schemes
Welsh water have a ‘Help U‘ scheme that gives you a reduced bill if your total household income is less than £12,500.
They also have a ‘Water Sure‘ scheme which gives you a reduction on your bill if you:
- Have a water meter
- Receive Tax Credits or certain benefits
- Have a medical condition meaning you need to use more water
Or
- Have three or more children you claim Child Benefit for.
