Young single parents play I.T safe with E-Safety training as part of the Growing Together project
Parents in Caerphilly have been learning all about how to keep themselves and their children safe on the internet. Whilst the arrival of smartphones and tablets have allowed parents and their children to embrace technology like never before, there is also a danger that the inexperienced user may stumble across content that’s not meant for them, talk to people who they shouldn’t be speaking to, or worse. With this training, the parents now have a better understanding of the online safety features available to them as well as the knowledge that E-Safety is the responsibility of not just themselves, but of everyone that uses that uses the internet (and even those who don’t).
