Gingerbread Membership and Friendship Groups

Gingerbread friendship groups are run by single parents, for single parents. They are a chance to meet other single parents and make new friends. To join a friendship group, you first need to become a Gingerbread member. Membership is completely free and there are lots of perks to being part of Gingerbread, including a monthly e-newsletter packed full of updates and special offers and access to lively forums.

If you need someone to talk to at any time, off the record, you can call the Samaritans.  They know a lot about what might be helpful to you at times of crisis.  They can help you to understand your problems better and explore your options or they can just listen. The local branch is at 43 Stow Hill, Newport and are usually open to receive callers between 8am and 10pm.
