You may also be able to join The Millennium Volunteer Programme.  This aims to encourage young people to take part in volunteering opportunities that can offer them the chance to give 200 hours of their time to a project of their choice.  Certificates awarded to recognise 50 and 100 hours of volunteering as stepping stones towards the 200 Hours Award of Excellence certificate, which is signed by the First Minister of Wales.
